The following photos are from the land intervention The Drain Trench. In 2004, I engaged in a series of Land Art Projects. My interest lay in the exploration of nature left behind by man. I worked in a contaminated tar polluted land site with whatever materials could be found on site. The following documentation is taken from video stills, digital photographs and pages from the Werk sketch book. Referenced artists include Andy Goldsworthy, Robert Smithson and others.

Wrapping Factory Town is a parody of the work of Christo and Jeanne Claude. Although I can appreciate their large body of work, and I especially like Christo’s drawings; I would have rather see them wrapping factories and contaminated land sites rather then trees and rivers. This documentation consists of photographs, film stills, and pages from the Werk sketch book.
